    Dear Sir/madam,
The same thing has happened with me also.
The girl with whom I got married in 2003 is mentally psycho with the deceise of OCN(Obsessive compulsive Neurosis disorder).

Her parrents are politically strong and they have produced so many fake fitness reports.
They have filled the case against me in IPC498. I am not able to do anything as he approaches to every advocate who fights for me.

Please suggest me what should I do?
I am very much depressed now.
    please help me.

    regards
    Varun

sounds to me as if there is a lot of finger pointing and no responsibility being taken. no marriage is perfect, it’s not supposed to be. if you’re husband is that bad, why do you continue to go back. seems to me that there is more to this story than is being told. if you guys have been together that long he ca not be all that bad. sounds like you both need counseling. God did not intend for marriages to be treated like disposable bags, marriage is a commitment. i’m sure he’s not perfect, however are you claiming to be ? at your age as well as your husband, there needs to be healing instead of blaming, the past need to be trashed, and you both own up to your imperfections. marriage may not be perfect, but can be such a beautiful thing even with the bad. considering your husbands circumstances, i’m sure he needs your support now more than ever. i am sure he has been there for you at times. now is a time for maturity and spiritual growth. try mending rather than tearing try healing rather than injuring. ten years is a long time, there is love in the air somewhere i am certain of that. lastly, divorce should always be a last resort with certain exceptions of course. everyone falls sometimes but we all need someone to help us back up, i’m sure he needs you more now than ever and i’m also sure you need him. your letter seems more out of anger than hatred. love him still and sit back and watch God’s miracles.

i personally feel that to many people try to find so many excuses to get a divorce. words are just words everyone argues, but marriage is about ups and downs in life. noone ever said any marriage would be perfect. no marriage ever is so men, simply man up and take responsibility for your marriage men are just as messed up as anyone else. women, be strong enough to stand your ground, behind every great man there stands a strong great woman. quit making so many excuses about why you should get a divorce, that is so cowardly. if noone’s life is in danger or getting beaten, then work it out. come on people grow up !!! this is life marriage is about the good and the bad thats what makes it so beautiful. so men stop being cowards and women stop acting like babies.
    sincerely,

Did you ever live with a bipoler disorder patient? It is quite hard you know? It is not at all like looking after some one with a flu or anything like that. Reasoning is no good for these illnesses. If not dealt correctly by professional therapists, both could go down with mental health problems.

It is a mind affecting illness for anyone around. Only way to have compassion towards member of family who is ill is to have healthy mind but by dealing with it, your mental health will be compromised if not approached correctly. Even professional psychologists need therapies themselves to keep on top of things. If you do not have correct skill and knowledge, it is like being an untraind personnel trying to defuse a bomb.

Some Interesting Stats On Arrests Of Women

In 1930, the British govt arrested 17,000 women for their involvement in the Dandi Yatra (Salt March). During 1937 to 1947 (10 Years), they arrested 5,000 women involved in the freedom struggle. From 2004 to 2006, the govt of India arrested 90,000 women of all ages under 498A. On the average, 27,000 women per year are being arrested under this flawed law. These are stats from the NCRB.

The family of the writer was tortured by the Indian Police in an attempt to extort over a $100,000 by holding them in custody for over a week. The police, in cahoots with the magistrate and the PP, did this due to the ridiculous allegations made in a 498A case by his embittered ex-wife. She filed the case years after he and his family had last seen her. Thousands of 498A cases are filed each year in India by women seeking to wreak vengeance on their husbands and in-laws. Enormous sums are extorted from intimidated families implicated in these cases by corrupt Indian police officers and elements of the Indian judiciary.
