On the first anniversary of the “clumsily drafted” domestic violence act, Indira Jaising had moaned that an year after the law to protect women from domestic violence was enacted, it was being defeated by social prejudice, blindspots, brickbats from bloggers and searing criticism from the Justices of the Supreme Court in the form of Batra Vs Batra, 2007.

In an article published in the Indian Express, titled Family against woman, she wrote that:
“One year is an appropriate time to evaluate the functioning of a law. However, there are no systems to do this on a systematic basis since there are no computerised data bases of orders and judgments. Given this, the Lawyers Collective, which was largely involved with this law in its formative stages, undertook the task of evaluating enforcement, using available data. The chief justice of India facilitated the collection of data from different high courts. Our report, ‘Staying Alive’, is based on this.“

I wondered about the time spent on developing this report; the pretty graphics to adorn it; the money spent on it. It must have taken many man hours to write that report and I am sure that unlike us activists, the practitioners of pussy politics don’t do things for free. After all, their livelihood is based on peddling slogans about “protecting women”.
To illustrate, A Guide To Surviving IPC 498A has been downloaded close to 100,000 times as of today. I wrote it at no cost except for the investment in time.
That brings us to the question. How many people do you think would have read ‘Staying Alive’? Ain’t that a colossal waste of cash?
I actually thought (for a short while) that she did it for free as part of her commitment to women’s issues. I can get a little delusional at times !
Here is a revelation.
UNIFEM paid the Lawyers Collective (meaning Indira Jaising) a whopping $1,40,000.00 US Dollars to write that report. That means Rs 60,00,000.00 (approx).
To truly understand the meaning of this princely sum, I want you to ask yourself if you’ll ever see that kind of money in your life, in one cheque, and for doing just one task.
I know that I won’t. At least for not indulging in pussy politics.
Think about it this way: can you imagine the Chief Of Army Staff walk away with Rs 60,00,000 upon retiring, and after putting in 30+ years in the country’s service?
What about your neighborhood bank manager. Can you see him walk away with half that amount in his PF fund ?
And here is my question. What did she do with all that money? Please don’t tell me that the shoddy report consumed all the $1,40,000.00 US Dollars !

She should know. She enabled the extortion of Rs 40 Lakhs from an NRI by aiding the jailing of his Delhi resident sister in a Calcutta jail for a month. The jailed lady was released after her NRI brother paid Rs 40Lakhs to his estranged wife. You can read about this here:
And did anyone wonder why the woman was jailed though she didn’t commit any crime…?
Hey ! What about due process rights of the jailed lady protected in Joginder Kumar Vs State Of UP? Did Indira Jaising think about the seminal judgment of the Supreme Court or for an instant?
And this egregious action was done by a supposed defender of Human Rights and a constitutional lawyer !!

This is what pussy politics is about folks. The practitioners scream and shout about women’s right, but in reality, there is nothing done to empower women. There is nothing noble about this. It is a business — a very profitable business where $1,40,000 can be paid for producing a silly report!!!
Is it a wonder that there is such a strong opposition by Indian pussy politicians to the amendment of 498A and the domestic violence act ?

I am on the wrong side of pussy politics. There is a load of money to be made + the perks and lifestyle and access to power and privilege. All you need to do is shout yourself hoarse and claim your commitment to “womens issues” and play ostrich to the fact that over a 1,20,000 women have been illegally arrested by the corrupt and brutal Indian police since 2004.

It is hightime the civil society exposes the nefarious activities of UNIFEM in India. UNIFEM is promoting subversion of democratic institutions, besmirching the reputation of our country, destroying our culture, fomenting social chaos and funding radical and anti-social institutions. They are doing all this without any opposition, without any consequence and without any accountability for their actions.
Needless to say, the biggest beneficiary of this fraud is Lawyers Collective and Indira Jaising.

house arrest. Now there’s yoga. A judge ordered a man convicted of slapping
his wife to take a yoga class as part of his one-year probation. “It’s part
of anger management,” County Criminal Court at Law Judge Larry Standley said
of the ancient Hindu philosophy of exercise and well-being. “For people who
are into it, it really calms them down. ” Standley, a former prosecutor,
said the case of James Lee Cross was unique. Cross, a 53-year-old car
salesman from Tomball, explained that his wife was struggling with a
substance abuse problem and that he struck her on New Year’s Eve during an
argument about her drinking. “He was trying to get a hold of her because she
has a problem,” Standley said after the court hearing. “I thought this would
help him realize that he only has control over himself.” The sentence came
as a surprise to Cross, who was told to enroll in a class and report back to
Standley on his progress. “I’m not very familiar with it,” Cross said of
yoga. “From what I understand, it may help in a couple ways, not only as far

Yoga which is one of the greatest Indian contribution to the world has got
vast potential in all fields. In Tihar jail India Yoga is experimented among
the inmates and found successful. Their criminal mentality is changed. This
study aimed at investigating the effect of Vipassana Meditation (VM) on
Quality of Life (QOL), Subjective Well-Being (SWB), and Criminal Propensity
(CP) among inmates of Tihar Jail, Delhi. To this effect the following
hypotheses were formulated. 1. There will be a significant positive effect
of VM on the QOL of inmates of Tihar jail. 2. VM will have a positive and
significant effect on SWB of inmates. 3. Criminal propensity (CP) of inmates
will decrease significantly after attending the VM course. 4. There will be
significant difference in SWB and CP of experimental (Vipassana) group and
control (non-Vipassana) group. 5. Male and female inmates will differ
significantly in SWB and CP, as a result of VM. In the famous “Time”
magazine the importance meditation and yoga, an ancient Indian system, is
high-lighted that the ancient mind- and spirit-enhancing art is becoming
increasingly popular and gaining medical legitimacy. It is a multi billion
dollar business in US. In many Universities it is accepted as subject and
included in the Syllabus. In the latest famous book “Inspire! What Great

Maharshi Mahesh Yogi and Sri Ravi Sankar are popularizing this. The Iyengar
Yoga institute in US is famous.
In Bhagavad-Gita Gita Lord Krishna has inspired Arjuna to rise from his
depression by preaching Gita in the battlefield and to rise from the

Medical studies continue to show regular meditation working magic in
reducing blood pressure and stress-related illnesses, including heart
disease. Brain images show that regular meditation helps calm the most
active sensory-assaulted parts of the brain. The ancient Hindu sage
Patanjali who had mastered the secrets of the human mind has written a book
“Yogasutra”.In this book we can see how super powers can be achieved by
meditation. It has both cosmic relevance and cosmic resonance. In spite of
its universal appeal, for most people total control of mind remains an
elusive goal and daunting task. From time immemorial, there have been many
attempts throughout the world to unlock the mysteries of the mind and to
achieve total control over it through a variety of techniques. One of the
most powerful of these techniques is meditation.
Many spiritual leaders, sages, saints, and holy people such asSri. Buddha,
Sri Ramakrishna, Madam Sarada Devi, and Swami Vivekananda have practiced
this. One of the ways to control physiological reactions to psychological
stimuli is meditation, Yoga, Zen Buddhism etc. The scientists take
Transcendental Meditation (TM) as the uniform technique, and base their
observations on the study of the subjects engaged in this form of
meditation. In summing up the results the scientists have come to conclusion
that the effect of meditation is a “wakeful, hypo-metabolic state”. They
have found that: 1) Yogis could slow both heart rate and rate of
respiration, 2) Yogis could slow the rate of metabolism as confirmed by
decreased oxygen consumption and carbon-die-oxide output. 3)
Electro-Encephala-Gram (EEG – recording of brain activity) in Yogis showed
changes of calmness in the form of “alpha rhythm” during both eyes closed
and eyes open recordings. 4) Their skin resistance to electric stimulation
was increased (indicating increased tolerance to external stimuli). Our
usual ‘defense-alarm’ reaction to emotional and physical stress is in the
form of “fright, flight, and fight” mediated through over-secretion of
certain neuron-transmitters and neuron-modulators, namely adrenaline and
dopamine by way of stimulation of sympathetic nervous system. Under the
influence of these chemicals and hormones, we reflexively become panicky or
aggressive, our blood pressure rises. Thus stress and anxiety is the end
result if we allow our natural age-old sympathetic reactions to act and to
come to surface. We try to run away, become fearful, or fight the situation.
But today these ‘defense-alarm’ reactions have no place in our lives.
Rather, they should be replaced by more calm and serene reactions of
equanimity and fearlessness. The need is to just ‘face the brute, and it
will go away’. Such desirable reactions of non-aggression and peaceful
attitude are generated by Y ga and meditation. EEG Studies on Yogis and The
Zen Meditations: Yogis practicing Raja-Yoga claim that during the state of
Samadhi they are oblivious to the internal and external stimuli, and they
enjoy a calm ecstasy during that state. A study was undertaken to record the
electrical activity of their brain during this state by means of a regular
and useful test known as electroencephalography EEG. Physiological and
experimental studies have demonstrated that the basis of conscious state of
brain, among other things, is due to activation of “reticular system” in the
brain-stem in response to internal and external stimuli. These stimuli bring
about various changes during sleeping and wakeful states of the organism and
these can be studied by EEG. The study was carried out on four subjects
during the state of concentration and meditation. Effects of external
stimuli, like a loud gong, strong light, thermal simulation, and vibrations
were studied. The results were compiled and analyzed. It was observed that
two Yogis could keep their hands immersed in extremely cold water for about
50 minutes (raised pain threshold). During the state of meditation, all of
them showed persistent “alpha activity” in their EEG with increased
amplitude wave pattern, both during ‘eyes closed’ and ‘eyes open’ recording.
It was observed that these alpha activities could not be blocked by various
sensory stimuli during meditation. It was also observed that those, who had
well-marked “alpha activity” in their resting EEG showed greater aptitude
and zeal for maintaining the practice of Yoga. Similar observations and
results were obtained when EEGs were recorded in persons adept in Zen
Meditative technique. Can we say that only those persons who exhibit such
recording of “alpha wave rhythm” in their EEG are fit for Yoga? and be
designated as right candidates for meditation and Yoga practices? (Such
experiments are indeed very few and the number of yogis examined is also
very small. Therefore, scientifically and statistically these observations
have only a tentative importance. Further research is definitely called for,
albeit it will have its own limitations.) It is said that in the unknown
period of Lord Jesus Christ , He was under meditation.

My wife are engaged/Affair with a boy his house front of my house, all the matters are know every person in my village, and also they given me written about my character. When my wife goes outside form my house near about many vory gold and cash 1.20 lack Indian rupees taken. Not taken my daughter, daughter is now in my house. My wife doing the 498a case’s date 31/08/2009 and I arrest 06/09/2009, court give me bail at 19/09/2009 my 1st court date is 16/10/2009 done. Next court date is 04/01/2010 at Barashat court. Some proof (20 pcs. s.m.s., picture with the boy and a c.d.) has me about my wife and the boy that they are in illegal relation. Believe me I and my family love much more to my wife. I write my matter to all minister in W.B., CBI, CID, Human rights department, Kolkata Police, my nation, all of the news channels, and all press, and many more, absolutely you also, I’m 100 percent victim but no body come to me. We request you to remove Dr. Thambi Durai (AIADMK MP) from 2G spectrum scam JPC. Following reasons
– We are students and college staff members in Adhiyaman College of Engineering (Address: Dr. MGR Nagar, Hosur, Krishnagiri, Tamil Nadu, PIN CODE – 635109). Dr. Bhanumathi is our Chairperson (Wife of Dr. Thambi Durai)
– Dr. Thambi Durai is a corrupted individual. In our opinion, he is not qualified to investigate corruption of other politicians.
– He and his wife own about 10 Engineering colleges in Tamil Nadu and many other colleges in Faridabad, UP (Adhiyaman Educational Trust). Their value is Rs. 3000 Crore rupees, but his election affidavit hides this detail. Many in college management told that he gave false details to Election commission. Election Commission, please start investigation
– Tamil Nadu state Government Education department stipulates Engineering colleges should collect tuition fees as per their ceiling limits (Approx. Rs. 45,000 per year). But Adhiyaman Engineering college authorities collect money from students at a double rate (Rs. 80,000 per year). Forcing poor middle class students to pay higher fees is a crime. We have evidence records to prove.
– College Management prepares fake salary vouchers to show to UGC and AICTE. College staff is paid very less salary in hand. They are also angry about this cheating
– Even when DMK was ruling, Adhiyaman college authorities were never afraid about the Government and still collected higher tuition fees. Thambi Durai has friends in DMK and he used to threaten in case of student complaints. How do you expect him to probe and bring out truth in 2G scam when DMK members are his friends
– In DMK ruling, Thambi Durai and his Management involved in several corrupt dealings to receive Government aids and licenses. To change our college status (Government aided college status), college Management paid Rs. 50 Lakh to former Vice Chancellor Dr. Radha Krishnan. Later Dr. Radha Krishnan was arrested (corruption). One AICTE inspection member was also paid by Dr. Radha Krishnan. We have bank transaction details proof and willing cooperate in secret. This money was given to a trust owned by Dr. Radha Krishnan’s wife in Coimbatore.
– Dr. Thambi Durai bribed many Vice Chancellors and Education Minister in DMK period. He is involved in many money dealings with them and he made two Vice Chancellors (Dr. Viswanathan and Dr. S. Kaliappan) to join his party (AIADMK). Vice Chancellors helped Dr. Thambi Durai in many approvals and licenses. No complaint about Adhiyaman college is never investigated by Education Department
– UGC members and AICTE members are also paid in money for keeping quiet. Old Coimbatore VC Radha Krishnan knows all details
– We have no trust State Government will take action. No action in DMK government and definitely no action in AIADMK government
– Relatives of Bangalore Court Judge (B M Mallikarjuniah) studying in our college. Tuition is completely free for them. Everything is free for them. This Judge is handling some important cases related to MP Mr. Thambi Durai. Sometimes relatives of this judge stayed in our Guest house. He can even bribe Judges, and close the case. Very powerful person
– He used many staff members and students to give money voters in Karur (MP election in 2009). 70 crores spent in election. Unaccounted money in Adhiyaman Educational trust was illegally transferred to Karur and distributed to voters (Rupees 500 for one vote, Rupees 2000 for one family). It is an open secret in college.
Based on reasons, please remove corrupt AIADMK MP Dr Thambi Durai from 2G spectrum JPC and disqualify him as MP. Please start corrupt cases against him. Jail him.
If no action from you, we go for hunger strike. Some
